Volvo Vera

The Vera is Volvo Trucks groundbreaking and totally autonomous new truck. We provided the name and branding for initial launch. Its name, by the way, stems from the fifth era of vehicle autonomy – the stage where vehicles do not require human attention and steering wheels, or acceleration/braking pedals are eliminated. Fifth era, V era, Vera – get it? (for HiQ).
